AI for Norway — KI for Norge.

Bringing Harvard and MIT-grade AI education to one million Norwegians.

    01 — The Thesis

Around two-thirds of Norwegian businesses now identify AI as critical to future competitiveness. Yet AI competence remains concentrated in a handful of cities, sectors, and demographics. AI for Norway closes that gap. We translate frontier curriculum from Harvard and MIT into Norwegian-language formats accessible to workers, public institutions, and small businesses across every county.

    02 — Why it matters
    I

    The competence gap is widening.

NHO's Kompetansebarometer shows the majority of Norwegian firms cite digital and AI skills among the most-needed capabilities they cannot recruit for.

    II

    The R&D gap is dramatic.

A single company like Spotify invests more in R&D than the ten largest companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange combined.

    — Javad Mushtaq, Dagens Næringsliv, August 2025

    III

    Norway risks becoming a spectator.

Without ambitious upskilling, the country trades leading extractive industries for second-tier digital ones.
