Board-level AI questions have no peer forum.
Most AI convening is built for practitioners: engineers, compliance leads, policy specialists. That work matters, and it is well served. What is not served is the narrower set of decisions that cannot be delegated — whether to build or buy a foundation model capability, what an AI incident disclosure obligation does to a quarterly reporting cycle, how a board satisfies itself that Article 4 literacy obligations are actually met across a group operating in six jurisdictions.
Those questions are asked in private, answered inconsistently, and rarely compared across companies. The Nordic CEO Network exists to put them in one room, under Chatham House terms, with a written output at the end of each cycle.
Closed membership, published method.
Membership
Sitting chief executives of Nordic-headquartered organisations above a defined operating threshold, plus a small number of public-sector directors general. Membership is by invitation and is not transferable to delegates.
Cadence
Two working sessions a year, each anchored to a single decision question rather than a general theme. Sessions run under Chatham House rule.
Output
Each cycle produces one published artefact — a decision memo or a governance pattern — attributed to the Network rather than to any member.
Independence
The Network is convened by ImpactLab and carries no vendor sponsorship. Members do not pay for access to policy positions, and the Advisory Council reviews the agenda.
