Forming — first meeting Q3 2026.
Founding members announced with the meeting agenda. The Council's standing mandate is to safeguard editorial independence on The Dispatch, advise on initiative selection, and review partnerships above the disclosure threshold. Full detail is on the governance page.
Roles
How the organisation is staffed.
- Executive Director
- Sets strategy, holds partnerships, and carries the institutional voice. Signs off on every initiative before it enters the public map.
- Editorial lead — The Dispatch
- Commissions, edits, and fact-checks each issue. Reports on editorial independence to the Advisory Council, not to partners or funders.
- Initiative leads
- One accountable lead per initiative on the map, responsible for the stated next milestone and for retiring the initiative when it wraps.
- Research fellows
- Fixed-term appointments attached to a specific question. Output is published under ImpactLab with the fellow named.
- Advisory Council
- Non-executive. Safeguards editorial independence, reviews initiative selection, and clears partnerships above the disclosure threshold.
Fellows & Contributors
A working network of more than 200.
ImpactLab's fellows and contributors are senior practitioners across policy, engineering, capital, and civil society in the Nordics, the United States, and the Middle East. Most contribute in closed-door rooms under Chatham House Rule. Named fellows are listed publicly when their participation is on the record.
